Sandblast is Chi Omega’s annual philanthropic volleyball tournament that benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Fraternities, sororities and independent teams - coached by the women of Eta Delta - spend the day in the sun and sand, bumping, spiking, and setting to raise money for Make-A-Wish.

 

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. A wish granted not only provides hope, strength and joy to a child and their family, but it can provide a wish-child with the ability and willingness to comply with difficult medical treatments. The hope gained from that wish often improves a child's physical health. 

 

With the money raised at Sandblast, we have granted wishes such as a trip to Disney World and a day playing basketball with Will Smith. Every year, the sisters of Eta Delta raise enough money to grant around two wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
